Let The Right One In - a must see film!

Just watched 'Let The Right One In', its fantastic!
A sort-of vampire love story with the innocence of children. Shot in Sweden with beautiful snowscapes and bleak vistas.
I advise everyone should see this!

Wet, windy but successful day at Kioskiosk!!

Just reporting back from a successful day at Kioskiosk. A great location and professional looking set-up. It was wet & windy but had lots of good feedback and more importantly vital sales!!!

The Kiosk is a self-contained pod, that provides a professional environment to help young designers 'have a go'.

At Kioskiosk girlwithbeads will be selling new summer designs including vests customised with ties and denim beach bags, alongside mens & womens tie-shirts, a range of unique handbags, purses, belts and hair accessories. There will also be some special discounts on offer!

girlwithbeads at Bermondsey Street Festival 2009

girlwithbeads will have a stall at the 3rd Bermondsey Street Festival, selling a selection of bags, belts, and some new designs!

So keep the 19th September free in your diaries!

Last years festival featured stalls by Fashion & Textile Museum owner Zandra Rhodes and an amazing performance of The Rocky Horror Picture Show with live actors!

The stall will be at Tanner Street Park (half way down Bermondsey Street, SE1)

Hooray!!! I've finally got around to starting my own blog where I intend to keep everyone up-to-date with the goings on of girlwithbeads, especially new products, sales and shows, as well as inspiration and interesting bits n' bobs.
