Doctor Who Christmas Special Preview!!!

I was lucky enough to go to the official preview of the Doctor Who Christmas Special at the BFI, followed by a Q&A with the cast and writer Steven Moffat.
Without giving anything away, you are in for a treat on Christmas Day!
The storyline is a bit bonkers but the doctor is on good form, Michael Gambon is brilliant as usual and even Katherine Jenkins is bearable.

Last post date before Christmas!

If shopping at www.girlwithbeads.co.uk for your Christmas presents - please note you must order before 22nd December for your items to arrive before Christmas Day (this applies to ready-made items - for bespoke items please allow 2 weeks).

Merry Christmas Everyone!

WiTHiNTENT uses fabric from the tonnes of broken and damaged tents that are left behind at the end of music festivals, to create shower-proof clothing and accessories for the festival market. Each item is designed and made in the UK.

Such a fantastic idea!! I met the designer at the Eco Design Fair, and she ended up dressing as a cardboard knight!?

Earthquakes in London! great new eco play

Went to see this great play last night at the National Theatre - Earthquakes in London.
Its comes from the makers of Enron, and looks at issues of environmental disaster caused by the human race's effect on the planet.
Its not quite as serious as it sounds, and features some good music from Arcade Fire and Marina & the Diamonds.
I would recommend it if you get the chance to go!
